How does Youtube count the views? For instance, if someone visits video and does not completely watch the video, does that count as a view? Must you watch the entire video before the view counts?
I have been observing the counter of our latest video on Youtube and I was not really aware of the time. However, when I uploaded the video which means it has zero views, I played it just to check if everything is all right. The counter gave a count of 1. When I played it again for 5 seconds and quit, it registered a count of 2 which belies the claim that you need to watch the video for 30 seconds in order to be counted as a view.I have been observing the counter of our latest video on Youtube and I was not really aware of the time.
