Is there a period of time when an order gets rejected?

A buyer marked my order as rejected without clarifying what I was supposed to do. I asked for some details about what he wants me to edit but he has not replied and it has been over 2 days. Will this order be automatically rejected after a certain number of days/hours? Or will it remain like this and so I end up not getting paid? I cannot do anything until the buyer replies and it seems he is not online much.

Hi EliteWriter thanks for your question. If buyer reject order without any noticeable cause, you should ask to buyer why he rejected order? As per as I know before rejected any order buyer has to be write at least any short note. Is there buyer explain anything? If so and if you agree with buyer requirement, you should go for it to fill buyer requirements. And inform to your buyer what you need to do for him. If buyer remains offline or come in online but unwilling to get you answer, I think there has something intentional from buyer side. For that reason, you can wait for a certain time and period. You can now do 2 things, you can re deliver order or refund him without further hassle.
If you do not do any action, order remains rejected on your manage sale.

I was going to give him some more time to reply as he was vague in his comment, and I asked for an explanation. So the order will remain marked as rejected indefinitely?

You should really be given an explanation as to why your order was rejected, even the chance to rectify what the buyer isn't happy with. As it is most likely content writing perhaps they aren't happy with the style you wrote in, but then you should be given the chance to change it to be suitable to your buyer.

Rejecting an order without an explanation shouldn't be allowed.

So he rejected your order and then disappeared? As far as I know you must give a reason or a comment when rejecting an order.

If that was vague and the seller it isn't responding, try to deliver again, this time, make some "vague" changes yourself, don't let the order go into "late delivery". Chances are the buyer won't reply to you ever again, had this experience before, pretty strange.

Also, as far as I know the order isn't marked as rejected, it's just active again, the previous delivery doesn't count, you need to change things around as the buyer instructed and deliver again.
