WHY IS THE PERMATELY FEATURE YOUR SEVICE ALWAYS SOLD OUT!!

Hi
I am following ionicware services, and I never receive updates when there is a slot open for this feature $375 for a month. I check often. Why is it catered to some and not open to every one. So I basically have no chance of ever of being featured here on SEOCLERKS.......
Thats really unfair and discriminating to the rest of us. I understand there can only be a few slots open each month, but at least change it up some time and give others a chance to be featured there. Its always the same people. There are no excuses, so don't shoot any too me......

That must be very disheartening, however I am sure it is not a case of being discriminatory. Perhaps those members paid upfront for a very long time in order to secure those spaces?

I would guess that there are only so many spots without over doing it. I think it would look irregular if every listing all the way out to page 50 was a featured listing. Lol! I have seen other websites do this, they sell a ton of featured listings but it seemed to cheapen the site.

There is no doubt that those slots are very much sought after. They offer a great exposure after all. I think that new users should be given a chance as GiftGallore pointed out, as it seems that the same services are stuck there. Maybe the period of time for which they are reserved should be shorter, and there could be say a month during which someone else can get a service featured, such that more people are given a chance. Then when that month is up, the previous seller can be given the opportunity once again. I guess it could be done on an on and off basis.

Hi GiftGallore thanks for your nice topic. I complete disagree with you when you said unfair. Nothing unfair there. SEOclerks featured only available once anybody leave the featured slot either sold out. And Ionicware update status once they have available slot. And I disagree with your offer too. Who do not want to happy with repeat buyer? If you think as sense of seller of featured slot. You always tried to give service to existing buyer. Is not it? Of course as a service seller, I always give top priority to my repeat customer first than other. And this service for $375 and you know it is not easy to purchase by everybody regularly as he is not experienced as much. So, who will leave opportunity to keep repeat buyer who already tested? It is not any logic after 2-3 month existing buyer needs to leave featured then other will come.

Your offer as like a Bill gates owner of Microsoft has been making huge amount of money, but now he needs to leave Microsoft forcefully for other guy to give same opportunity to earn same amount of wealth by MS . Is it realistic thinking?

If you need featured service contact with help desk and they will tell you what is going on currently

Well.. Even though I can understand the frustration.. It's not unfair.

Barryinsiam for instance, have probably had two of his services featured each month for 2 years now or something like that.. Would it be fair to take that away from him? - He have paid for that feature every single month.. And as long as he do that, he should be able to have his services featured. You can't just take something away from one person to benefit from it yourself. That's unfair.

What I would have done, to mix things up a bit, is to have 20 permanent featured slots in total. And then add 5 extra ones that would feature new services only, for 7 days. When those 7 days are up, 5 new services will be featured. That way it would be easier for everyone to benefit from the featured slots.

Yes I know its all in who you know...Been there!!! Like I said in my inital question, how can anyone else even get a chance??? Thats all I'm saying..

I might have explained this in a bad way.. Let me try this one more time.

The users who have featured slots at this time, will automatically have the option to renew their featured slot when the time period is starting to run out. So they will have a chance to buy the featured slot again, before any new users will have the chance of doing that. That's the reason for the featured slots to be sold out all the time.. Because the users who pay for the featured slots are doing it each and every month.

That ultimately means that other users have one option only. To cross their fingers and wish they can get one of the slots as soon as one of the current slots are open.. And that will most likely never happen. The competition for these featured slots are insane.. And due to the limits, it's near impossible to get one. I have a hard time to see that a ticket to the support would help you.

There is a total of 25 slots. Most people who have featured services always repurchase the service to get their service featured again. However, at times, the admin will post status updates informing marketplace sellers that a slot is available, and this is a rare occurrence.

Featuring your service on the index page really seems to pay off otherwise sellers wouldn't purchase this service. Could you imagine all the traffic that your service would get? Also, could you imagine all the sales the service would receive? This is why sellers purchase the featured services, and usually it's always sold out unless a seller doesn't want to feature the service again.

Yes I understand. You know, I know, seoclerks knows that the ones that keep re-purchasing those slots have already established a customer base. These are my own opinions : There should be something implemented so that one can only stay in those slots for a few months then they have to take a break a month and give others opportunities to purchase a slot, thats my opinion. Then all sellers here get an opportunity.

I think you have a good idea in essence. Like allowing only 4-5 months in a row before you must take a break.
I don't know exactly how the feature slot is sold and how is it occupied, but I guess the "seller" in this case SC, has the right to choose its clients.

I've taken a look at your profile, you don't seem to offer any remarkable service and none of them is really popular. Everyone gets a feature slot usually is a remarkable seller, that already sold hugely popular services, so maybe that's the problem, you may have to prove yourself first before you can play with the big boys.
