I have tried this and yes I sometimes still do online surveys but I have to tell you that mostly it is a complete waste of time. I have signed up with every single one I could find and tested them out and most of them are complete time wasters and a lot of them are scams.

If you are looking to do this type of thing never ever pay to sign up, those are always scams!

Try Clixsense, you can do pay to click, offers, tasks and surveys. I would just stick with the PTC and surveys though. the tasks are a waste of time and sometimes when you have done the tasks the website doesn't give you credit for all the tasks which is a real pain.

You can try User Testing and Userlytics, they are not online survey companies exactly but you test websites for them. The pay is usually S10 per test which takes about 20 minutes to complete. You must have a webcam and microphone plus a good internet connection.

I have looked at these survey sites and tried a few some years ago. Besides the scam sites that everyone has experienced the ones that I found that actually do pay don't pay much at all. If you do the math you will realize that you will be chasing pennies and wasting a lot of time. It just doesn't add up to any significant amount of money for the time you will expend.

Going back about 8 years ago I used to sign up for a couple of survey sites. My experience was a negative one because some sites have a very high threshold one needs to reach in order to be able to withdraw money, and it takes a lot of time and effort to actually ever manage to reach a payout. In fact I never did, because there were very few surveys that I was allowed to complete simply because of the country where one is based. I decided it was not worth the time, and so I would suggest trying something else to earn money online.

Never tried survey websites, I always saw them as scams and every time I've tried taking a survey for some reason I never actually managed to finish one.
I simply don't see the point, who exactly is paying for the finished survey data and why would they want an opinion of a paid person?
I mean you could totally bullcrap the hell out of that survey, would you still get paid? What was stopping you from not even reading the questions and just giving some random answers?

Hi sanfora thanks for your question. I think you have got such a encourage answer by Mike. As his experienced earn some amount of money by Survey. But according to my experience still I do not get any paid survey sites. As a beginner of freelancer I tried many things like PTC, survey etc as easy way to earn money without having experience and I registered many survey sites. And they offer very good looking amount of money for each survey but unfortunately all survey was scammer. Once time has come to paid to me, they made all pending and for life times.

So, my opinion do not start online career with such a scam platform.

I am on a survey site.. well kind of.. 99.9% are scams or dont pay out or use excuses.
the one I use is owned by neilson family and its a research surveys here in the UK, im not sure if im allowed to mention its name but i can say who its owned by.

eg you answer 10-20 minute survey about a product they might bring to the shops/market then you can either get the product free to try.. or 300 points... which =£3

I have 2100 points so far.. thats £21 for stating if I think a product is good or not!

Sadly the rules are I cannot talk about the actual products and im not sure if i can list what company it is either.

the only other "survey" site i trust that actually pays is google rewards.. the catch is, its only an android app and stupid survey but you get credit to use on apps.. not really cash in your bank though but saves money if you use apps

heres a sample i got this week

are you a male or female
... OK HAVE 39p!

week before
Have you been on holiday lately?
no? Ok have £1.59

lol

but ive used many survey sites with a spare email address.. EVERY one i have tried its scams or viruses and crap sent to my email and a lot sold my details on so i sadly dont just any unless its a well known company

if you come across any survey site.. I suggest you do a full search on trusted sites researching if they are any good.. usally google "site name" scam on google, and if you get results with stories of scam.. then its a scam, if no result come up to say its a scam, it may be safe.

always use a spare email address though.... in case you get bombared with spam mails.. my old spare email gets 2000-3000 a week

Yes some payout some just waste of time. I been on points2shop for 3 years now you can earn cash or points . The cool thing about the points they have link from there own kind of amazon if that makes sense lol. Its amazon stuff say you want something on amazon which is around £5 or $5 you probs need between 500 to 600 points. You use your points get the item the site puts the order in and you just wait for it .
Not just surveys either you can do tasks and also download apps to watch videos its cool.

Yes, they do pay you, but this thing takes time and effort. You aren't going to make money overnight. I have tried them, but the websites I work for, takes so much time--so I discontinue to do the surveys.

Yes, I am apart of a couple of Survey sites and they are all legitimate. It does take a little long to do the surveys usually though and not always will you qualify. Some sites do not even offer any incentive or partial for completing part of the survey if you do not qualify so it could be time wasted. You need a lot of patience if you want to do survey sites. Some days, I have patience some days I do not.

You made me laugh Sanfora, you said they let you to complete the survey and after that they refused to pay you for the reason thatyour country was not on the list. It never happened to me, but I'm not surprised at all.
I heard about many survey sites that pay its members but i haven't joined any of them because the payment is too low and I receive money late.

I have friends who claim that they are earning $300-$400 every month by using survey sites. However, survey sites have never worked for me. Survey site will work only if you are from the US, UK and Canada. In most cases, surveys are not available for the users in Asia and Africa. However, you must be aware that surveys are most of the time low paying, you will earn few cents by spending 20-30 minutes.

Surveys sites that are legit pay especially if one is from the top tier countries but for Africa, I'm yet to know about a site that pays them.So yes they pay but you should reside either in the US, UK or Canada precisely.

I've noticed this quite a bit, which kind if discouraging for a lot of people. I'm not sure why survey sites give preference to people in the U.S., UK, and Canada. I'm in the U.S., so I've never encountered problems of being disqualifies simply for where I live, but I can't imagine what it's like for someone trying to freelance from another country.

The only survey site that I've had consistent luck with is Prolific Academic. The source of the surveys are legitimate, being that colleges and universities are the ones who conduct them, and they prescreen you very well so you're sure to only get survey offers that you qualify for. I don't know how many other sites I've been on that will disqualify you from a survey after you've gone through the trouble of answering a majority of the questions.

Prolific has been consistent and always paid very quickly, which is very nice.

If you are not a US resident, beware of survey work for you might just be disappointed. I had joined not just several, but I think so many websites already that pays for the surveys. There was even a local website for Filipinos not to mention the several apps that pays for surveys. But I always get disqualified due to location, age, gender and status of employment. I’d say surveys are not the real thing for me.

I agree that it depends on the Country that you live in. If you live in the United States of America, the sky is the limit for you, you are spoilt for choice. If you live in a third world Country, you are out of luck, my friend. You may make one dollar a year from survey sites. I think you can find other work online, survey sites are not the way to go, if you live outside the UK, USA,Australia or Canada. Facts!
