    What exactly is the meaning of page rank ZERO (0)?

    What exactly does it mean when a website is rated Page Rank Zero (0), does it mean that the website has been penalized or is it an improvement in page rank due to increased search engine rankings and traffic visitors? when i did some research on it, i got conflicting answers about it.
    So i want to hear from the house here?,.

    It doesn't matter if your website has Page Rank 0. It's most probably not penalized. Is it still indexed in Google? Do you still get organic traffic? Then it's not penalized.
    Google Page Rank is dead and it will NEVER be re-introduced. At least not in the format it once had. Maybe Google will introduce at some point some sort of authority score (very unlikely) and lets say maybe it will be called Page Rank, but the algorithm will be totally different and they won't bring back years old technologies.

    I guess you asking about Google page rank (PR)? This ranking system doesn't exist any more so i am not sure why bother discussing this, or does it matter any more What exactly is the meaning of page rank ZERO (0)?

    But even when it existed it didn't mean that website is penalized! PR0 was starting point of page ranking and every website / blog started from PR0. Also it had nothing to do with your webtraffic. Traffic was very little part of ranking back then

    Thank you very much for your response, i know very well that Google has stopped the updating of page rank. its just because i did some research on page rank when i first created my new website and noticed that after carrying out some promotional methods, my website was ranking Page rank zero, so i did some research to know what it means and noticed that a website reads page rank 0 when it get penalized while some say it doesn't necessarily mean it is penalized. i kept this in mind for a long time until i remembered and decided to post it here to hear from the secoclerks house.

    The meaning of page rank zero is the rank given by the Google based on your website's quality and traffic. It is the priority which is from 0 to 10, If your website's page rank is zero then it doesn't mean that your website got penalized but it means your ranking is on very low level so you need to increase the page rank for the better performance.

    Page rank just doesn't exist anymore. So it means nothing at all. A very successful and high ranking website wwill be PR0 and so will a new website.

    I started working online in 2011 and even then page rank was on it's way out but I could often see what a website's page rank was.I was so disappointed because I first learned all about what page rank was and I started trying to get mine up and then soon after that I found out that page rank was on its way out! I hated seeing my PR0 and seeing other websites with high page ranks because it made me annoyed and inadequate. Now everyone shows as PR0 which is great in my eyes.

    I don't want to be showing a piddly PR0 when other websites have a page rank LOL. Call me silly but it really grated me!
