Pokémon Go - Gotta Catch Them All! Advertising?

Yeah, we all know it...
You play it.. Your girlfriend are playing it.. Your son.. Your daughter.. Your wife, husband, literally EVERYONE is playing this game. And for what? Car crashes and bruises? (That has already been covered so we won't talk about that.)

So, with that said, take a look at this:

Pokémon Go - Gotta Catch Them All! Advertising?

As you can see, it's crazy. It's viral. It's POKÉMON.

Is there ANYTHING we, as freelancers/marketers/advertisers can do, to get a piece of the traffic? Do you have any suggestions at all? Are you planning to advertise through this when you can, if you can, and would you, if you could?

YOU GOTTA CATCH THEM ALL!! (Just imagine the subscribers one could get out of these people...)

There's plenty of ways to catch the traffic and I don't know why we all aren't teaming together to grab a share of the profits.

I don't want to go into too much detail because my ideas can get sniped and then I'm out of a paycheck, sort of lol Pokémon Go - Gotta Catch Them All! Advertising?

barbaraling owes me a review for my product.. :/

Anyhow, yeah. She knows what she's doing and her things often result in some success so I bet she's on to something this time too. I don't know, I think I'm not seeing things clear. Perhaps I'm looking INSIDE the box this time.. Even though I'm quite good at staying outside of the box.. But this just.. I don't know. This whole Pokemon thing has went nuts, and perhaps, I have too..

Yeah, I'm probably going to buy that ebook just to see if there's anything in there that I haven't thought of. And like she says on her website, it would take me days to do the research or I could pay her less than $4 for the research she's done and compiled Pokémon Go - Gotta Catch Them All! Advertising?

I always have issues with statistics. I need the data where the statistics is from. Does anyone have links to an actual study detailing the time the user uses the app vs other apps, and how was the data tested?

The image shows being 10 minutes over Facebook, that is fantastic. Just think people never knew that Facebook would lose with anything. . and we have this little Pokemon Go app that seems to be drawing traffic, and surpassing most download counts.. This is what you would call a viral phenomenon.. and I am loving every moment of it. I don't play the app, but it's nice to see how it all plays out. Pokémon Go - Gotta Catch Them All! I am not how to put my take on this honestly i have not put too much thought in to playing the game myself but i have seen the memes the jokes the complaining and the accidents that happened because of the game, so it is safe to say i acknowledge it now to market off the traffic i am not sure how exactly one would start off to go about that , there is no doubt in my mind there is a great way to capitalize on it honestly i just feel i do not know either i am thinking too hard , or it might be a little challenge to do so

Oh yes, considering all the people using Pokemon Go it certainly makes sense to do something about it. The thing is you need to come up with something that can really work and that can really get you money rolling in before all the craze and addiction related to this game disappears. I am not one who has any practical ideas and/or skills that might come in handy and i know very little about the game, so I wish you guys the best of luck at doing something about this asap Pokémon Go - Gotta Catch Them All! Advertising? let us know if you do.

Oh I need to think how I will cash in on this craze. I'm still trying to figure out why people have gone so nuts over this game!

It is a really addictive game. I was not one of the first to try it out, but when I saw how popular it was becoming I decided to see what it actually was all about. Now I am not a fanatic or something, but it can actually make you want to go out and walk and see if you manage to catch a pokemon. And whenever I go out I make it a point to check out what is in the vicinity. It is a bit difficult to remain level-headed because it is addictive and I truly think that for most teens it is quite impossible as it is a craze.

Wonder how much time will this viral trend continue. To be fair pokemon go is a nice way to fill up your time when you have nothing to do and you need to take a walk. But I find the game very limited, hope they have in plan future updates and add stuff like adding friends, private messages between players, pokemon alerts even though the app is minimized....stuff like that.
And also, training battles between players outside the gym!

I am pretty sure they will be taking into account the many requests avid players are making so as to make this game even more appealing. There are surely going to be updates to it, and they will be improving it as these get released. In my opinion this game was launched at the perfect time - summer - when many teens are on their holidays, and when many people go out to enjoy the sun and the good weather. As the weather gets colder, I guess there are going to be some surprises to encourage people to keep playing it.

Yes, how are people going to search for pokemons during winter? I don't think they actually expected so much success. Anyways I can already see that the trend is dying out already among my teammates. You have to have huge amounts of free time to play this game. And most of the gyms are already to hard to conquer.

Yes, you need time - not only to walk and catch the pokemon, but also to find pokestops and replenish your supplies such as pokeballs, berries, potions and revives. You also need to take into account the time you need to spend transferring pokemons that are not that good so as to have space for more. It takes time to choose the weak ones.

You know what, I never thought of the colder months. What will they do to drive players to play when the winter hits? In some countries Winter is already here. It'll be cool if the game was based around the seasons where you're located at in the world.. do you think?

I mean, technology has developed to a point where this would be possible. I think games like Pokemon Go will help society leave their house, and actually get some much needed exercises. If I had this app, you could be sure that I would be outside most of the time to play pokemon! lol.

I understand that this is an obsolete discussion but let me share my thoughts. I am not surprised with the mention of 21 million users and probably even more. That’s how things work with people in the internet. When there is a hype and it goes trending, people tend to try it with no reason at all but just because of its popularity. But after playing that game for some time, the players soon realized the silly game is not for them. Walking around to play? That’s not a good one for players who want to be in the comfort of their computers.
