How many friends can you add in Facebook daily?

I want to use my Facebook account for marketing. But I will need many friends to make this strategy pay off. How many friends can I add daily without being banned?

Doing this is actually not the smartest thing..

First of all, they can lock your account, and make you randomly view about 15 different profile pictures of your "friends" when you're trying to access your account, and you'll need to choose the right names for them all.. If you don't do that, your account will be locked. (I had this problem myself a couple of years back. I managed to hire a guy who made it work again though)

That being said, make people followers instead. That way you won't risk your account. You can't help being popular, right? ;)

How do you make people followers instead Andre? I've got 140 followers on my personal profile. I have no idea what that means really... I don't know if they are my friends or not because I've never bothered to look.

I'm followed by 2,276 people.. on my fake account. Or, "marketing" account.

Well, you can simply tell people to follow you, especially in large "add friends" groups. Just state that you've met your limit and that you're not allowed to send any more friend requests.. They'll send request to you instead, which is much safer for your account. However, you could also state so in that message. Instead of adding friends, follow each other. It's basically the same thing anyways.

Ok thanks, I had no idea what that was all about. I do get a lot of people I don't know sending me friend requests but I have started deleting those people that I don't actually know. I was previously accepting a lot of friend requests because I thought it might help my business but then I started getting a lot of rubbish like being tagged in loads of posts completely irrelevant to me and I found that spammy and annoying. Plus people were adding me to loads of groups, once again things I have no interest in and I find that spammy too.

Now I just delete and I found my followers are increasing... go figure.

you have to run your self up to 300 friends before face book will send you a notification saying your account will be blocked, if you plan on using face book and expand in it my advice to you would be to pace your self, do not try to go too crazy because as i did mentioned your account has the potential to get blocked if your bringing in crazy activity , i would say to pace yourself you know you could add 20 friends a day, and just find a balance or you know risk your account it is up to you.

As far as I know once you start to send friend requests Facebook will be aware of that fact that most likely they are not really friends, and they will restrict you from continuing to add friends. I guess it is better to go slow as such a practice is not encouraged. It sort of shows that your account may be fake and you are adding people that you do not really know. It may be better to take a longer route by opting for ads or maybe launching a competition to encourage people to like your page out of their own free will.

Hi sanfora thanks for our question. As per as I know Facebook does not impose any rules for add friends or request to friends. And there has no limitation. Rather, Facebook insist on term of suspicious activity or spam activity. If they detect you are doing something wrong or suspicious things, they should warn you first. For example: if you accept 100 friends request within 24 hours, it is not too bad. But, if you accept 100 friends request within hour, that should detect as spam or suspicious activity and you will get warn or they may restricted to your account for certain period.

Oh! another requirement for a single account. You can add overall 5000 friends per account. But, that should be risky for you, if Facebook request to you for photo verification. What you will do? If you do not know all of your friends. And If you cannot detect all your friends, you should being restricted for permanently.

So, I request to you just accept and request to your known person. Who really your familiar person. Many friends not showing your personality. You will feel comfort, when you will see all of your real friends in friends list. And Facebook always emphasis on this real issue too. Real facebook account user never get restriction.

Another thing, when it comes to "marketing" on Facebook. I suppose you want 5000 friends to literally post all your products, affiliate links etc, and hope for your "friends" to sign up & buy and all that? - They won't do that, so it's a waste of time.

You should probably focus on creating a fan page instead. You can still use your personal account (or a fake one which I suppose you're about to use?) and join large groups. Make some VALUABLE posts in those and direct people to your fan page. That way, you'll be totally safe and actually build a legit audience.

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. How many friends can you add in Facebook daily?

I have been marketing on Facebook for years. I suggest you keep your personal profile as just that, personal. Yes I do post some marketing stuff to my personal profile too, but only a small amount.

I use Facebook pages and Facebook groups for marketing and this is what I suggest you do.

If Facebook finds out that you are using a personal profile for business use they will shut that profile down, all it takes is one "friend" that is annoyed with your posts to report you to Facebook and I guarantee you that this will happen. So you will lose all your work and "friends" anyway.

The other problem is that if Facebook finds you have loads of Facebook profiles they will also shut you down, and once again you will lose all your "friends" and your work.

Pages and Groups are set up for this purpose and honestly they work really well.

It depends on the people that you're reaching out to on Facebook. Ensure you add friends that can be of benefit to the products/services that you're planning to sell/render so that adding them won't be a waste of time and resources. I would advise that you add as much as you like on a daily basis.

I did try adding 10 friends per day, no problem with that except that if those strangers that you had requested for friendship reports you for spamming, your FB is at risk then

It really depends if you're using a real account or a dummy account for marketing purposes. If you're using a real one then you can add more or less 15 friends a day because if you add a lot then FB would think that it's a fake account and you have to verify it with them which is such a drag.
