What type of profession do I choose as freelancer?

I think nowadays lot of new freelancer come on online. Some of them has few skill and some of them come on online without knowing anything. Even they do not know how to start freelancing or they do not know how to work online and what profession he will choose? But somehow they hear about online freelancing.

I would like to say there no individual profession, you can choose which very profitable. All jobs more or less demandable online. You have to expert in your field what are you trying to serve on internet. For example: you can do web designing, SEO, blogging, content writing, graphic designing, translator, virtual assistance etc.

Finally it is completely depend upon your subject , where you really skilled.

What is your advice for new freelancer?

My advice for anyone trying to do freelance work online is to use skills that interest them. Don't try to offer a service that you're not knowledgeable in as you will have future issues. Make sure whatever platform you're using is a legitimate platform, don't list your services on any scammy, spammy or questionable risky websites.

Know your worth as a freelancer, don't offer cheap services with the hopes of getting sales. It's very unsustainable to offer really cheap services, and manage your time as your time will be short due to many clients needing your attention. Make sure to have really good customer support. Always reply to your clients in a timely fashion.

Hi Everett thanks for sharing your opinion. I am sure your advise will help to other new user. I appreciate your point like do not offer cheap service. yes! most of the new comer think that, if they offer cheap service, they may make money or buyer may hire more than other. This is complete misconception for a new freelancer. Quality freelancer never do it. I think every freelancer has to understand his value of work. Cheap offer will not show you as an expert. But, problem is most of the new freelancer thinking that if he/she earn some of pocket money that may enough. But, he forget it is his profession. He need to manage all expenditure as he works as profession freelancer.

Typically most real freelancers are not freelancing for pocket money, they are freelancing for a living. They need to pay their rent or mortgage, bills, car payments, or anything else. I typically don't view those that only earn small amounts (pocket money) as freelancers, but more so just people trying to earn a quick buck.

Most of the times, lower priced services are not of high quality, and you basically pay for what you get. So if you have a service, and offer it for $1, don't expect it to be high quality as the chances are it's probably not of any quality.

Hi Everett I completely agree with you. Real freelancer, I would like to say professional freelancer never work for pocket money. They do full time job as career. Like myself I manage all of my expenditure by doing freelancing job. As I said most of the newbie thinking first, if they earn some pocket money, it may enough for him. That is why they tried to do work with cheap rate without considering value of time and labor. It may happen they may out of train up or teenager. And I do agree with your point like for $1 you never expect high quality service.

you have to go with some thing that really catches your interest and goes with the goals you have set up, as we all know freelance is a make or break type of thing and unfortunately some people can and have failed but do not let nothing discourage you , my advice is too find something your good at something that you can apply what you know very easily so that you would be able to go at the best of your ability i would not recommend picking up some thing that your are not familiar with you might find trouble

Hi jkeyz2 yes I like your point as do not picking unfamiliar things to do. And I also said, as new freelancer need to learn lot of to make himself for well skill. Because, you are going to serving to other guy, who expect something better than other. You should do such think, what you can do and what you think you have efficiency? Try out to do learn for subject basis and make decision what you will do? I think need to go ahead with target basis. At a time to set multi target may fail to get skill to individual area.

I would recommend that everyone get into writing content for clients to start out. You can start as an entry level and quickly rise to the top as a great writer after you hit XX amount of positive reviews on some platforms. I've been hiring some great writers over the years because they always provide me some great articles or content, and you too could build up a clientele that always comes back.

When someone gets into writing they'll also have to learn SEO if they're doing website content or articles to be published online. I say this because it gives an added bonus to your buyers and if they see this added perk to their orders, they'll hire you all the time What type of profession do I choose as freelancer?

After it feels like you're starting to hit your peak with writing, you can get into websites if you haven't already. Start with Wordpress and set up a website or two. Work on the SEO of the websites in order to increase their rankings and bring in traffic. This will let you learn as you go and you don't have to worry about profiting from the websites because you have a full time income from your content writing clients.

I believe it all comes down to what skills one has. For example I am good at writing, so I started to offer article writing services and then expanded my services to proofreading, rewriting, translations and so on. However they are all related to writing and I would not have been much good at anything else, so I stick to what I am best at.

Apart from experience and skills, it is also imperative that one has a lot of motivation. I believe a lot in motivation because there are going to be tough times and bad experiences, and it is what can keep you going.

Develop your skills based on your interest. If you are passionate about writing, learning how to write an online article. The online article is very different from the print article. A good writer for print may not be a good fit for the online medium. When you write online, you need skills to do keyword research as well as write SEO article.
If you are interested in graphic designing, you should learn graphic designing.
It will be easier for you to develop skills if you are actually interested on it.
As a freelancer, you can choose any skills. However, you need to have better skills. It is better if you have more than one skills.

For newcomers to freelancing, check your best skill. If you are good in writing then you can try to be a content provider or maybe you can have your own blog site. And if you are skilled in selling then there are lots of marketing opportunities in the internet. Whatever your skills are, you surely have a place in the online world.

writing is very common freelancing skills, there is so much competition out there that freelance writers hardly earn money. Therefore, a better way to make money is to develop skills like photoshopping, graphic designing, web programming, web designing etc.
