Steemit - 4 Days of "spying".

Hello,
The first thing you should do, is to read this if you haven't already:
Have you discovered Steemit yet? The social networking site that pays you to contribute

It's the article Mike made a few days ago. It's because of him I joined steemit and now I'll tell you what I've realized & experienced during these 4 days..

So basically, you create posts and you CAN make money. I don't know exactly how everything works and I guess one will never find out. You can mine it to increase your profits, that I know.

People makes LOADS of cash here...
Steemit - 4 Days of "spying".

And.. being skeptical.. I created a post too.. (After a few hours of researching.)

Steemit - 4 Days of "spying".
That's my earnings. Not too shabby. (Although I used a photo that I knew would draw attention.. What's better than a pair of ... ehm.)

Steem earnings..

However, you earn steem dollar and steem power on steemit so you will NOT get the whole amount. It's divided, so you will get both SP and SD.

Here's what it says about Steem Power:

STEEM POWER
Steem Power, influence tokens that earn more power for holding long term and voting on posts. The more one holds the more one can influence other’s rewards and earn rewards for accurate voting.

Also, you won't be able to withdraw your money so easily. You can't just withdraw the money to your paypal account or anything like that.

To withdraw anything from steemit, you'll have to do this:
Steemit - 4 Days of "spying".
So, it's not the biggest problem ever, but it's still quite inconvenient.

steemit is also new.. What do you think will happen?

Do you think steemit will grow into one of the biggest social media platforms out there?

There's already a bunch of proofs of payments. I'll be lurking around for a while, until I finally decide whether to put some serious time into this or not.

You're no longer a spy when you tell people that you're a spy. Seems you have forgotten the Spy 101 courses. LOL

I have mixed feelings about the steemit website. I mean it would be amazing if you could earn that much money just by posting on a social networking website, however if something is too good to be true than it most likely is. I don't understand exactly how the Steem dollars function.

Do you just post content, and hope to get views and then get steem dollars? Do you have to have a following on the steem website and post and then earn the steem dollars?

I'm hoping you can "spy" until you get paid and let us all know how it worked out for you. So please keep us updated. Steemit - 4 Days of "spying".

Oh, I must have been sick that day. Steemit - 4 Days of "spying".

Yeah, I have mixed feelings too. It's actually a bit too much things one cannot understand, and that's annoying.

STEEM POWER is one of those things. You'll get it from posting, voting and getting up-votes on your content, just like you'll earn steam dollars for the same things.. However, you can also buy STEEM POWER, with your earnings which is Steem dollars OR with bitcoin. Steem power is, what it looks to be, the REAL power and the real game changer. With Steem power you'll get more exposure and more votes. It's that simple. I can't tell you how, but it just is that way.

You can also "power down" which basically means that you'll turn your steem power into steem instead, and steem is the currency you can sell for real cash by doing the steps in the first post. However, if and when you "power down" you'll get the amount spread out on 104 weeks, with a payment once per week or something like that.. As I'm not a regular user yet I have still much to learn, but that's at least how I understand things.

Also, it's something about interest. You'll earn up to 10% interest on your steem power, per year, or something like that.. So yeah, they award you with steem power, steem and steem dollars. All of them are your money but only 1 of them can be withdrawn, so you'll have to turn the other two into that.. Kind of.

You can follow others and they can follow you. I don't know why anyone should. I haven't got any notifications so far, from any of the people I follow. I follow 2 and both of them have made new topics today. Perhaps that will change in the future.

You basically just create your post and hope it will get tons of votes. If you have a lot of steem power, this will happen naturally and much easier.

I know that my post most probably sounds awkward and weird.. And I know.. but it is. At least for me! Steemit - 4 Days of "spying".

Hopefully you'll get something out of this Steemit - 4 Days of "spying".

I've been wanting to start up on steemit to see what I can make. I know I can get some posts to be pretty popular by doing some tactics I've learned from doing online marketing over the years Steemit - 4 Days of "spying". I want to eventually get one good post up a day in order to see what I can make. If I can make $15 a day on there starting off, after the steem and money split, I'd be happy.

The withdraw system seems pretty odd, but I can get use to it fairly quick since I understand all the lingo. I'm not too big into mining so i don't understand the marketplace that well. I'm sure I could do some research for a week or so and figure everything out in order to streamline everything so that I'm not having tons of headaches lol Steemit - 4 Days of "spying".

Their system is pretty new so I wonder if I could automate this at some level. I wouldn't want to post crappy articles in risk of getting my account suspended or even banned. My automation would be more of setting up a few people in order to outsource to for work. I would basically hire people to write up posts and make them well written in order to increase conversions. These people MUST know English and be good writers. The better the write, the more potential the post has to make money in the long, or short, run.

I think I may take a chance and pay some of my writers to write up a few 1,000 words posts with images and possibly a video, then I'll publish it. After they're posted I'll begin to research the marketplace and figure out how to withdraw the earnings. This way the posts can hopefully make a bunch of money and when I figure everything out I'll be ready to withdraw Steemit - 4 Days of "spying".

I hear you Razzy. However, one thing that I've come to realize, is that you don't need to be native in english or a superb writer. Literally anyone can earn. It all comes to up-votes on your content. Bring good content and people will like it. That's how you'll earn. With that being said, you could still do what you've stated above. That way you'll probably have "more luck" so to speak. But up-votes isn't everything on steemit, which is why I think it's really interesting.

I guess it seemed just too good to be true from the start. I saw the previous discussion on this site but did not get to check it out, so thanks for doing so and sharing your experience. I find it problematic and time consuming to go through that process you described to get your earnings, as I am used to simply withdrawing to PayPal and that's it. Obviously every site has its rules, and there are going to be many who find it okay as long as they earn something at least, especially if they enjoy posting and earning from it. The concept is a bit difficult to understand for some, but it has its good points since at least they pay something to contributors.

You and me both. I use Paypal for basically everything. I find it odd how every time I contact paypal for an issue they always make sure to compliment me in how many years I've been using it.. It's kinda annoying at the same time too. :/

Also, I think you could get paypal cash if you were to withdraw the steem dollars for bitcoin, and then convert the bitcoin to USD and then get paypal cash. But not everyone is willing to do that, especially since it's kinda hard to find someone willing to buy those Steem dollars since it's so new.

First of all.. Why shouldn't people know about it? This is SEOClerks community discussion, this is a knowledge bank. Secondly, idealmike was the first person to mention this site. I became a member because of him. What I've done in this post, is simply stating my own experience I've had during these days I've been a member. I can't see anything wrong with that at all.

Steemit is shared literally everywhere. Most users on steemit shares their articles daily on Facebook for instance, so it's just a matter of time until people joins. Exploit and Bot, sure, but it's not as simple as one can think. You can't just make a bot and make it up-vote your content. You won't earn anything by doing that.

Steemit has thought these things through. That's why they have 3 different "currencies" so to speak. Steem, Steem dollar and Steem power. All three are working hand in hand so it's hard to find a loophole to generate earnings by using a bot for instance. And mine, why not? -They allow it and even when it comes to mining, they have certain things working which makes it nearly impossible to do anything crazy.

Oh and btw. People are even down-voting scammers and fraudsters content, so they end up with nothing.. So it doesn't matter how many accounts you create. You won't earn anything. On top of that, you'll even need to verify your account by posting photos of yourself with a "steemit" sign. All these steps are taken due to fraud and scam attempts... So well. I still believe I've done nothing wrong in sharing this with everyone.

hitmeasap
