Started a new affiliate website . How can i improve seo?

Hey.. I started a new affliate web store. I designed the page by myself using php and bootstrap. I am currently using free hosting from 000webhost, I don't know if I will get enough earnings from the website to make a premium hosting. Is it worth the investment to pay for hosting? Also some tips that I might need to make this work for affiliate earnings.

Hi Cybertron thanks for your nice question. Affiliate such a great way to earning passive income. But, it is depending on many factors. It is need time and plan. Since you've already got some information about SEO, let's talk about hosting. The affiliate website that is hosted with 000webhost should be sufficient enough for an affiliate website. However, that website uses some popup thing for visitors that they will have to close before seeing the content, i believe. I could be wrong, it's been forever since I used 000webhost.

It could be best to just go with a cheap hosting plan, other than to advertise to your website visitors about the hostinger site and then advertise services, or other affiliate products. It's not really good to show popup ads for a product that is entirely different than what the affiliate is about.

Upon further search, it may be possible to remove the hostinger popup, but you'll have to see since I'm not aware if they stopped this from happening.

They might not show it yet, once the website gets popular they may activate it. I think at first I didn't realize it either until I was on a proxy and the popup appeared. I had no idea that the 000webhost used such intrusive marketing to try and gain sales from my traffic.

In the settings area, there should be some function to remove this if you haven't already. I would check the website via a proxy and see if it is there. If the popup is not there, wait until the website picks up some traffic and then check via the proxy. I hope they stopped this, it is very annoying.

I think you are right, my website is not loading now! it says dns probe error! I believe 000webhost is not so cool with these free hosting. I am going for a premium hosting. Can you suggest a good hosting site for low price.

I absolutely agree that using some cheap hosting plan is much better idea for blog and affiliate store. With some effort, affiliate store will pay off that hosting easy in future. Crazy popups from free hosting is just killing your affiliate efforts, while they grabbing attention of your visitors for their purposes!

Yes, that is absolutely correct. Why not just invest when you reach enough affiliate earnings to invest into your website for future purposes? It's always best to keep investing into your product, business, or whatever else it is. Always make it better for your customers, because in the long run whatever investment you put in it'll definitely pay off in the long run.

So if you have to use free hosting, that is fine, but try to remove the hosting popup, or contact the hosting site and ask if you can put a banner on the site rather than having the popup. Try to work out a deal. It's not impossible as I have actually done this, and I was able to use the affiliate link for the hosting site, and it actually did convert into sales and I was able to get free hosting for a YEAR.

Oh yes, I agree with that 100% an annoying unrelated popup coming up every time would be a killer for your visitors! You can get some really good hosting for a good price so I would invest in that definitely.

There are so many things that go into SEO.... and of course I don't know what level your knowledge is so maybe you know more than me!

Here are a few things I find vital:

Start with great keyword research, without the right keywords you won't get anywhere with SEO
Write quality articles regularly and consistently
Write your articles for SEO (so know where to put your keywords)
Share your content socially
Work on getting engagement on your website (comments)
Submit sitemaps to Google and Bing
When you write new content fetch as Google (Webmaster Tools)
Build quality backlinks to your website.

The first advice I would give you is to be reasonable. You are not going to get great results immediately, or within a short period of time. This is always the case with SEO. But do not give up. Make sure you are persistent at it and do not get discouraged as in time you will start to improve as you keep working at it.
Starting with keyword research is obviously critical. You also need to include those keywords in informative articles which can then be shared to improve your results even further. Make sure you write articles on a regular basis as that is very important.
Sitemaps can help, and also make sure you build good backlinks to your site.

My first advice is "don't try with free hosting," instead to subscribe to a hosting plan, even a shared hosting will do. If you are serious and can give a lot of time on your website, you will earn the operational cost as well as profits within one year., However, you should never expect the results in one of two months.
Second advice is "have a niche, don't promote random products, instead focus on one of two niches and promote the products on that niche."

When it comes to SEO it is always the content that comes first on my mind. As the saying goes that content is king so it is best to focus on new contents that you upload regularly on your site. That will definitely improve the SEO capability of your site especially if you will tag the new content with the proper keyword or keywords that are relevant to the topic of the new content.
