i never noticed or found any youtube video ranked in yahoo search engine. Does yahoo not allow youtube to rank?

This is the main reason I tell people to post their videos everywhere and not just on YouTube ;)
YouTube videos do rank on Yahoo! and Bing but usually not as well since they algorithms of Yahoo! and Bing are different than they are on Google.
Now this doesn't mean you can't get your YouTube video to the top of the rankings in Yahoo! and Bing, you'll just have to take a different approach when doing so.
A lot of people focus on optimizing their content and videos for Google since that is the search engine which gets the majority of the traffic. Why would you optimize a video for Yahoo! and Bing when you could get it ranked on Google and get 5 to 7 times the amount of traffic. The exact reasoning isn't clear to why it's more difficult to rank YouTube videos on Yahoo! and Bing, but we can only assume that it's because Google is their main competitor and they also own YouTube. You wouldn't really want to send traffic to your competitors website and take a chance of losing them forever. And that's why we have to assume this, even though assuming isn't the best way to acquire statistics lol :D
I'm not too big into video advertising and marketing for myself, but I've done it plenty for clients and have gotten their videos ranked all over the place. I don't focus on the Yahoo! and Bing rankings, but I did notice that it takes longer to rank videos on Yahoo! and Bing, but that's probably because my videos are on YouTube :D This is the main reason I tell people to post their videos everywhere and not just on YouTube ;)

I'm going to go and check and I will let you know what I find. Interesting question, I never thought about it... I've got some videos ranking on page one of Google. It will be really interesting to see where they rank on Yahoo! I'm going to go and check and I will let you know what I find.
