What's the best sleep environment?

I love sleeping with the TV on. And, actually any noise helps, even having someone talking in the room. It bothers me to sleep in a very quiet room. I get spooked and stay awake. I've been that way since I was a child. I just like a noisy room. Not too much noise but some maybe like from the television. What type of sleep environment do you prefer: quiet or noisy?

I like to sleep in a cool dark room with the fan on and covers on. My husband feels like he needs to have the TV on, which is nice for noise but it does not help me get a good nights rest.

I've fallen asleep with the TV on a few times this past month. Usually that doesn't happen though. If the light and TV are on, then I'm awake, even if I'm very tired. Most times, all I have to do is go lay down on the bed and I'm out very fast. What

My room is very dark and cool. I sleep with fan and covers too. I need covers too, to sleep, even in warmer weather. I don't like to sleep uncovered.

I like falling asleep in the recliner while watching TV shows. I feel so comforted like that, curled up like a pampered cat. What

I like to sleep in a quiet dark room. I just put the laptop on my stomach and keep reading post after post until I feel extremely sleepy. Once I start feeling very sleepy, I turn off the Laptop and then do my favorite thing (sleep).

Creating a soothing calm sleeping atmosphere can make a huge difference in how well you sleep. A room filed with good energy can make you feel at ease and you will sleep amazing. When putting together a good sleeping environment first start off with the room itself. A mess free room, dimmed lighting, and a cool temperature setting that isn't too overwhelming. Next start with eliminating all distractions such as televisions, mobile devices, and tablets of any sort. Not having these will help you focus more and clear your mind because if they are right beside you, you are tempted to use them for hours. Another great way to creating a good space for sleeping is to make sure you have a comfortable bed and pillows. These are very important factors on how well you sleep during the night as well.

Hi, Carson, I know some people can sleep with music, TV open or any noise around. It is not my case, if I hear any noise, I cannot sleep no matter on how tired I am.
To sleep well and fast, I need a quiet room, to be chilly, and sleep naked....that would be my night!

Dark, quiet room with lights off. No TV sound, no music, no bedside jingle. Clean bedsheets, soft duvets and covers. Soft fluffy extra large pillows helps too..

I prefer to sleep in a quiet bedroom. When the tv is on, it's all right, I can sleep when I am very sleepy but I tend to wake up after 10 or 20 minutes. And then I couldn't sleep anymore. When I was a student, I would sleep with music from my transistor radio. Well, things do change.

To me the best environment is a dark room. I'm not crazy about this but feel way more comfy on a dark room, no TV, music, or anything distracting. Not a fan of air conditioner but I rather have it when is hot than none. I love to sleep with no pillows, or something extra, like fuzzy toys or night light. I feel better also, when someone sleeps in the same room, or make some company for me while I get sleeping.

I enjoy sleeping with the lights on for that is the best sleeping condition that I prefer to any other type. I am not someone that likes noise, so sleeping with the TV on is a completely different ball game for me.

A sleep environment is dependent on what that particular person prefers. For me, I prefer having all of the lights turned off, even the lampshade and anything that can produce light such as Television and cellular phones. I also like listening to soft and ambient music whenever I go to sleep. I also prefer having my room air-conditioned at a level of cold that I prefer.
