I myself would certainly have to go with Gmail, I have been using it for as long as I can remember now and it's only improvised over time. There's some features I would really like to see implemented that haven't been but even so it's performed very well over the years and continue to do so.

Gmail is the preferred email provider of many people, as it connects to other Google related services. Though sometimes, I still use Yahoo mail for one or more of my online accounts.

Gmail provides a very good, secure email system that easily accommodates a massive amount of storage. Lots of other built in features for the email, including easy access to other Google related services such as Google Docs.

That part freaks me out. I don't really like the idea of Gmail spying on me. :/
I think they are up to no good.

Facebook does it too, reading my private messages and serving up ads alongside that literally match what i'm messaging. Ironically, I'm not too unhappy about that, as they serve up pretty useful ads. For some weird reason it doesn't feel like an invasion on Facebook.

I am using Yahoo and Gmail both . My Yahoo account is old when there was no Gmail .. and when Gmail started its services on 2004 .. I am using Gmail as main Email still i love Yahoo ..

I use both. Some sights that you have to sign up for to do go through to my yahoo email so it is just easier to use a gmail. Yahoo is more for my personal use.

Yahoo Mail is more prone to hacking so for that reason I won't use it. My Gmail has never failed, no hacking attempts so far. I trust it every time.

I have yahoo for mine. It is good enough for me. I do not mind it one bit.

One of my Yahoo accounts got hacked and was sending spam mails out to all my contacts. This made one of my friends very angry. He works with computers so I think he would understand that kind of thing happens. I shut the account down so there was no way the spammer could use it to bother my friends anymore.

I have been using Yahoo mail since the time it offered unlimited storage. I was on Hotmail before and I had difficulty in deleting old emails to give way to new emails. When the limited storage is consumed, new emails cannot come in into the inbox. With the unlimited storage of Yahoo, that problem was erased so I shifted to Yahoo. When Gmail became popular, I created an account there but I am not comfortable so I did not drop my Yahoo mail and until now, it is Yahoo mail for me.
