    Can I trade likes on Youtube?

    If I were to trade likes on Youtube with another channel owner, is that the same thing as buying likes? Could my account be banned for trading likes or having a 'like for like' type scheme? If I asked them to subscribe in exchange for my subscribing to their channel, would that violate Youtube TOS?

    I think it would be more against TOS of Facebook to trade likes. But, I have never heard anything against it on Youtube. I will have to reread the TOS to see for sure.

    such services now not allowed here

    I think most people do this, like youtube likes, subscribers, twitter followers.. Although we can't do facebook services, other services can be sell still.. as far as they would be banded :-)

    I'm not sure what Youtube TOS says about this, though I'm sure I could find out easily.

    Just from my perspective, I think that Youtube would prohibit anything that is 'fake' related to Youtube or anything that gives the impression a video or channel is more popular than it really is. Much in the same way that Google prohibits blackhat activities that make a site appear more popular.

    If the exchange of “likes” is not excessive then I guess there is nothing wrong with it. However, if you think that the likes you have been doing is noticeable then you have to think about it. But I guess it is not really disallowed for what is wrong with liking a video and that guy liking your video? I don’t really see anything against it regarding the policy.
