Youtube's Latest War on User's Videos [CONFIRMED]
This is a much needed Thread because there is a lot of Confusion out there regarding Youtube's latest Policy Update and how it contributes to all the recent Video Removals that have been happening.
I figured since I am one of the Longest Standing and most Qualified Providers of Youtube Services here on SEOClerks (that I know of), I feel it is my Duty to help bring some clarity to this Matter, on behalf of all the other Youtube Providers, and all the Users who's Videos have been Suddenly REMOVED after hiring a Provider here on SEOClerks.
I have been a "Policy Compliant" Youtube Service provider for over 5 years now. Which means all Views from our Services are deemed "Acceptable" by Youtube Policies.
That means all Views come from willing Viewers who actually make a conscious choice to View each Video by their own Free Will.
YET, I HAVE RECEIVED TWO NEGATIVE FEEDBACK REMARKS IN THE LAST WEEK FROM USERS WHO DIDN'T KNOW ANY BETTER BUT TO BLAME MY SERVICE.
So I did some research and discovered that there are MANY other Quality Service Providers just like me, here on SEOClerks who are dealing with the same problem with Youtube Videos right now.
In fact, take a look at these other Youtube Services and read their recent Feedback.
Here are just a few I just found now (Click each URL on TOP to go to the actual Gig & CLICK on each Screenshot to ENLARGE
Notice a Trend?? See all the recent Negative Feedbacks??
Those are ALL Different Sellers!!
Youtube is removing ALL Videos that violate their Updated Policies, and the Users are BLAMING Service Providers and ruining their reputations with Negative Feedback. Kinda sad isn't it?
People need to also keep in mind that your Video may have been in Violation for a long time, but when your Video begins to receive Views (especially over the 301+ mark), it grabs the attention of Youtube Review Team. Isn't that what you wanted though? To get noticed?
Youtube is removing thousands of User Videos right now for various reasons- and I will tell you why.
One Common scenario that I see a lot is similar to the Feedback left in THIS SCREENSHOT
- where the User says it's the Service Provider's
fault, yet when you go to the Video's URL
, it says it was removed because of it's "CONTENT"
But even if your Video's Content didn't actually Violate Youtube T.O.S. and it was all good, Youtube's Policies can't Prevent, Restrict, or Suspend the Service Provider's Video Services. They can only enforce their Policies on the User.
So the outside Source is actually in full compliance no matter what.
Now here's where it gets tricky:
Even if that "outside Source" provides totally SAFE, "Natural Views"
(which is what we provide), Youtube can still
flag your Video for "unnatural Views"
You wanna know why?? This is the misunderstanding people are having right now.
The Term "unnatural Views" has a double meaning.
- 1st Meaning)- BOTS, Automated Views, Scripts, etc.
- 2nd Meaning)- an unnatural Amount of Views in relevance to other aspects of the account such as Subscriber Count, or anything out of the ordinary.
In most of the recent cases, if a User had a Low Subscriber Count
, or a brand new Youtube account, or any numbers that don't make Sense, Youtube will Flag & Remove it
ACCORDING TO YOUTUBE, IT IS NOT THE SERVICE PROVIDER'S RESPONSIBILITY!!
Youtube Policy States:
"Each User is responsible for their video's traffic. If you contract a company that gives you spam instead of views, you pay the price, not the Provider who was hired.
Purchasing views for your videos directly from third-party websites (e.g. paying $10 for 10,000 views) is NOT ALLOWED!!"
After all, if you hire a 3rd party to send Views to your Video. Real Views or not. Either way, you Violated Youtube's Terms the Moment you clicked the "ORDER" Button
PLEASE DO NOT BLAME YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER OR LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK!!
So let's all try to be more aware of this so everyone can be happy and make videos, not war.
