    No traffic from pinterest

    My pinterest account has over 300 followers and 80+ pins but still not getting any traffic from it. Not even a single backlink is shown in Google webmaster tools. What could be the reason?

    Getting the Followers is not a big thingsNo traffic from pinterest But important how you created that followers, how you engage with the other user and follow them, follow other who relevant to your niche, make few comments on other pin relevant to your business use unique image for the pin, unique quality content and work on daily base. in this way sure you will get everything in a way as you exactly looking.     The idea is NOT to get followers! Try posting GOOD stuff, do NOT spam and try offering something new, unique and interesting in your profile (use hashtags too!). Pin & Repin other people's bookmarks too, communicate with them. The followers will come, the traffic won't be late too! ;)

    Pinning your image and just forgetting about it does not work. Your pinned image must be of high quality. The title and the description for your pin must be interesting, useful and also include the keyword. The key to getting traffic from Pinterest is active on Pinterest and high number of followers.

    Do you mean to say that the quality of the image affects the positive reactions of the other users? I agree that if the image is bad then no one may be interested. But if the image is just ordinary and not really of good quality, it is the content that should have an effect and not the image. Anyway thanks for the reminder on the keyword because I guess that is one important element that should not be forgotten when pinning.

    It's really hard to get any traffic from pinterest, you need to get thousands of followers to get some kind of traffic moving. If I where you I'll tap Facebook, it's way easier to funnel traffic from there.
