    Can you transfer a page to someone else?

    I am not interested in buying or selling a page. However, there is a page that I own which I can no longer manage. I don't have time and not really interested in the subject anymore.

    A friend of mine has offered to take over the page. I would like to do more than make him an admin for the page as I don't want anything else to do with it. Is there a way to transfer ownership of the page to this other person without giving him my account?

    Yes, i think all you need to do is make them Admin of that page then get them to remove yourself from the Admin Role/Position.

    Hi Riley!
    Yes you can transfer a page, and it is quite a simple procedure.
    1. Navigate to the settings menu
    2. Find the section which is called 'Roles'
    3. Add your friends ID
    4. Action them in as an ADMIN
    5. He will need to accept the change via email alert
    6. Then when he logs in, he can remove you as an admin thus revoking your access

    Yes it is possible, make him admin and ask to remove you. All will be ok then Can you transfer a page to someone else?

    Yes this is possible.
    As above poster states.

    1. Add new admin via FB user name(page roles area)
    2. New admin will receive an email, they need to follow 'verify' link.
    3. Once confirmed there will be 2 Admins.
    4 Simply disavow your admin role.

    You can make him an admin on the page but that will not sever your rights as owner of the Facebook account which created the page. He might only need to be admin to control the page though. So that idea might work for you.

    Once you transfer the page, the original page owner will have no rights or control over it.

    That should be reassuring as you can then decide what best to do with your new page.
