Service restored - some recent orders are being recovered

A security incident forced us to restore from a backup taken on 28 August. Orders and payments made in roughly the 24 hours before the restore may not appear in your account yet. We are recovering them.

Contact support if an order or payment of yours is missing.

As a precaution, you will be asked to choose a new password the next time you sign in.

How did this happen?

Today in my updates on FB, it stated so and so has accepted your friend request. I never sent one to them and do not even know them. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

An accidental click to friend someone is how I would explain it as this sometimes happens. Did you follow that person? This could cause it to issue a friend request.

Odd but I guess you would have had to have something to do with this. Or else maybe you accidentally bumped your mouse while you were online and did not realize it.

If you are using a public computer such as through work or library, your account can easily be compromised in this way.

Another case might be that if you might have accessed facebook from mobile than you get notification to send request to your mobile contacts, then later some of your that contact may have accepted your request.
