What if all your traffic came from Facebook?

Is it possible to only get traffic from Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest? How is this possible and is there any reason you would try this direct marketing type of traffic generation?

If your website/content is not optimized for search engines, it is very unlikely that you will get traffic from search engines. Search engines are one of the traffic sources. There are other traffic sources as well, after search engine the second powerful traffic source is social media. In order to generate traffic from social media, you will have to share on various social media sites. If you have a large number of followers on your social media accounts, you can get a large traffic.

I think why people used social media is because that is where you get more than enough people.Alot of people might not get to a specific website or blog to get any information.By sharing on social media even people that wouldn't go looking for that information may click to find out what your headlines is talking about. So social media even do more for traffic generation than any other marketing strategy because you're taking your blog to their doorsteps.

If all your traffic comes from Facebook then you have tofocus on your Facebook account. Maybe you have built a good reputation that
your posts are being patronized by your Facebook friends. Just don’t forget
that you also need to react to the posts of your friends otherwise they might
unfriend you and you lose them. You have to maintain your good presence in Facebook for continued patronage of your friends there.
