    Why are so many kids on Facebook?

    Isn't there a minimum age of 13 years old to join Facebook? But many parents are starting accounts for their own baby or children. Is that legal? Also, lots of little kids on Facebook too. Not just teens but younger than that. Is that even safe?

    Facebook can be a very scary and dangerous place for kids and adults.

    And, this was not an isolated incident either. You can search on Google for similar situations that happened before, dating back to 2009.

    Yeah, i supposed it must of all started when one kid on the block started bragging that they had facebook, then the others got jealous... Maybe that happened on A GLOBAL SCALE Why are so many kids on Facebook?

    Any parent that is making their kids to join Facebook at a time they should be in school is just not planning the future of such kids well. There should be the parental control on matters like that.

    Isn’t it obvious that Facebook is a craze among the youth? Not only in teenagers but I have noticed, based on the friend requests that I receive, that even elementary grade pupils have their own Facebook account. As a craze, one pupil said that all in their class have a Facebook account and no one would want to be left out. Maybe that’s the same reason by the other teenagers. And although Facebook has an age limit, it wouldn’t matter since anyone can say he is 18 even if he is just 3 years old.

    Well there's a lot of kid friendly things in Facebook like a lot of movies and anime. Unlike anime websites which takes a lot of time before one can access a particular anime, in Facebook you can join anime groups and anime pages and watch your favorite anime in seconds.
