But in other hand, why would Google penalize them? It wouldn't hurt most of big sites at all when they have so many loyal, active and responsive members. Just imagine if Google penalize Twitter or CNN, it would be perhaps bigger minus for Google then for these sites...
At the end this Google rules all about business where we (small) fishes trying to survive all the time and big fish eating small fish
