First check your page rank. using online page rank checking site.
After that you can plan how to improve other page visibility on google search.
Use Mata Tag ,Mata Description, in your website. always Google target Mata Description & Key words.

I agree that if you are not able to do it yourself you should look into hiring a SEO team to help you out.

On page and off page SEO improves the overall visibility of your site on Google search. On page SEO is having primary and secondary keywords on your website contents. Off page seo is building backlinks and submitting your links on directories. While SEO does not guarantee visibility on Google search, it is the best option to get indexed on Google and improve page rank. Shaing your website on social media, especially on Google +, sends social signals, which helps in visibility of the site.

My take on improving the website’s rank in the search list of Google is to do SEO chores. The first element is contents. Upload regularly good contents to your website to increase the ranking in the search list, not only of Google but also of other search engines. Next is to use keywords in your contents so you can have a higher chance of being included in the search list when the keyword is searched by the searcher. You can also spread your backlinks to other site like forums and blogs and also in social bookmarking site.
