    Site ranking well in Google search but few sales

    A friend of mine owns a web site that ranks extremely well for his keywords in Google Search but complains that he barely makes any sales. Please advise as to how to improve conversion of traffic to customers.

    How is the site content? For instance, if the site sells products, can the descriptions be reworked to make the product more appealing? What about having a main product page that clicks through to individual product pages with more details like on a traditional site? There are lots of little ways to tweak a shopping site.

    Maybe he needs to offer better prices or discounts for customers or start an opt in mailing list so he can capture leads and keep customers coming back after their first visit to the site.
