If people would just blog their hearts out and stop worrying about SEO, they would rank well in Google and get traffic. If you write well, then do what you do best and let Google take care of the rest.

I think seo also stands for search experience optimization because seo is also related to search experience. but generally seo stands for search engine optimization.

I think he was trying to impress upon the viewer how it's important to keep the end user of the site in mind when creating content and not just focus so much on search engine algorithms. Just think of what the site visitor (and not the search engines) want to see and you're likely to rank well.

If you're optimizing for your site user, by providing the highest quality content, that would be considered Whitehat SEO. Isn't that better than trying to trick the search engines with a lousy site that does your site visitor no good?

In what ways would you enhance the site user's experience? For instance, what content would you include on site to make their stay on your site more productive?
