I have read many discussions that say search engines are considering the links in social media as social signals that somehow it can be taken into consideration for the search list. But lately the social signals are already being considered backlinks which means the post in Facebook of your site’s promotion is already a backlink. I just cannot say about the quality of that backlink because we know that what we need is a quality backlink.

I read a few weeks ago that they can't take any "social media" off from Facebook pages. And Twitter prevented them from doing that by blocking their bots...

All it says to me, is that Google will be reading the social signals from their own Google + more predominantly. And, like it or not, Facebook will play less of an important role in Google searches in the future.

Still, Facebook can help in bringing more traffic and internet presence to your site. Almost 30% of my traffic came from Facebook.

I think social media sites give you good traffic . It helps SEO work. Facebook, Google+ and Twitter can give you backlinks which improve site ranking. In all the way social media helps .

As per my knowledge Google+ is Do Follow site so the links can't be No Follow.
Am I wrong ? Than PLS tell me .

SEO gurus actually are suggesting to use more of the social networking site these days such as facebook and google+. So sites that uses these services now a days rank more than those that don't. This could be the reason why google wants us to use google+ and maybe, just maybe in attempt to beat facebook in the future.

How about Facebook and Twitter?

I didn't get any do follow links from Facebook and Twitter but they give me good traffic . By this way they help to increase rank of my site. But in my opinion links from these sites have their own importance.

From what I understand of the discussions on SEO and social media, the postings of your backlinks in social media has a good effect in SEO because the search engines are monitoring social media networks for the backlinks. That means the more posts of your link on social media, the better you get for the SEO capability of your website. But always be aware that posting excessively in social media is annoying and can be considered spamming.
