Did you ever stop using Gmail?

I was always a huge fan of Gmail and pretty much used it for everything. But, over time I subscribed to various site newsletters. And, in the end my inbox was over run with spam. And, no matter how many times I clicked the spam button, the emails still came in.

One of the biggest reasons I stopped using my Gmail so actively was due to the massive volumes of spam emails or emails from sites that I was no longer interested in.

More recently, I have tried to clean up that Gmail box and get it into workable shape. I think there are many good benefits to using Gmail. But, right now, it feels completely disassociated with all the other services I am using.

I read that too. I thing gmail and google are invading my privacy now. I haven't moved yet but will soon, once I find an alternative.

You should unsubscribe from any site that you don't visit anymore. Some sites will email you daily and this can create a lot of spam emails you won't need.

Yes, I have just now started using Gmail again in the past two weeks. I have unsubscribed from many of the sites that were in my Gmail inbox and now get less than ten emails daily. I am very happy with my Gmail now and don't feel so over whelmed by the spam anymore.

I rarely have trouble with Gmail anymore. They were the first ones to tell me when someone illegally accessed my account. Thanks to Gmail, alerting me, I was able to change my Gmail and bank password before more damage could be done by the hacker. When that happened on my Yahoo mail account, I only heard about it through a friend who got spammed by the person who hacked my account. Yahoo didn't even bother telling me there was suspicious activity on my account. Did you ever stop using Gmail?

I've used Yahoo mail since preGoogle days up to now because it's very reliable and fast. Google or Gmail is always my second choice when it comes to mailing services. I really don't know why but I really prefer yahoo.

Never had any problems with my gMail accounts. Stopped using AOL permanently and stopped using YAHOO until I had to connect my Tumblr account and a YAHOO email was required. I'm a satisfied customer when it comes to gMail.
