Bing, the imitator

Bing looks so much like Google search. Don't you think they are just imitating Google search, rather than innovating?

Bing came from the bones of MSN search, which was online BEFORE Google, and Bing has it's own algorithm, which serves different results than Google. The Bing page is also more visually appealing than Google.

I don't think they really have anything in common at all, other than that they both serve a version of their own search results.

Google tried to accuse Bing of stealing their search engine results for their own, but Bing countered with how they use many factors in the algorithm. So who can really say if they copy or not. It's up to you as to whether you use Bing or Google and which results you really prefer.

I am not a fan of bing at all. Yes they want to be like google so they are trying to act like them in my opinion.

I think they don't seem to be have plan. They are in open search engine market. And we have to consider that bing is going to imitate. It seems like things are not going to be working harder. You can see that Bing seems to be taking up slowly into search queries. And they are going to work around the limitations soon enough. Hopefully it helps out with their plans.

This is true but humans are totally copy-cat, so we should always expect this all the time.I know the snag is just copying without any creativity or innovation but the most important thing or good thing is that we have varieties or options to choose from.

I don’t think Bing is imitating any search engine. It just so happened that the parameters of search engines are almost the same. They are checking the same items of a website like contents, design, keywords, and some other elements needed for evaluating the relevance of a website regarding a search. And since the algorithm of search engines changes from time to time, there is a probability that their algorithm will be the same in one instance. But that is note deliberate, I’m sure.

I agree I think that Bing is a great imitator that's the reason that it remains behind and unable to get more of a share of Googles huge global audience. I think if it were to innovate more it would find a way to attract more people to its search engine. Look at how Google is always innovating and by doing this attracting more and more searchers and advertisers to its platform. I think Bing need a better team.
