    Good reasons to use Bing Webmaster Tools

    There are many good reasons to use Bing Webmaster Tools. For one thing it gives you another perspective, outside Google. Here are some others:

    • Traffic is low to your site

      Bing Webmaster Tools has the tools you need to get listed and get more traffic. Getting traffic from Google is fine, but why not target Bing users too.
    • Understanding why people visit your site

      Knowing what words were searched to reach your site will help you focus on to increase traffic. Understand what your site visitors came for and expected to see on your site.
    • Just don't know where to start

      Bing Webmaster tools can take the uncertainty out of being a new webmaster.
    • Get recommendations on what parts of your site are good, which parts need improvement

    I would partially agree with you. I mean why would try to target bing users, if you have more than 1000 users coming from google everyday ? Good reasons to use Bing Webmaster Tools Also, with ever changing google algorithm, we can't rest on one strategy to be successful everytime.

    Does it actually matter ? I mean it is not enough if I just concentrate on google and it's ever changing strategy to rank sites ? Good reasons to use Bing Webmaster Tools

    Don't you think you are missing something ? I mean you are concentrating or talking only about successful site. What about new sites or sites which don't have traffic ? Don't you think they can try bing webmaster tool ? Good reasons to use Bing Webmaster Tools

    Agree opinion never hurts, but what is point in listening and trying to implement something which will give minimal result ?



    I learned a lot from the Bing webmaster tutorials, even things not covered by Google webmaster tools/tutorials. I'm a more informed webmaster/blogger by diversifying my reading resources and not solely relying on Google for webmaster how-to.
