Affiliate Clicks - (Just Real Visitors? or All Views)

Affiliate Clicks: xxxxx
Affiliate Members: xxxxx

Where it says the above stats on our affiliates account page, does the "Affiliate Clicks" only count real clicks by people? or Does it also count in bots, crawls, etc.. ?

I know it counts bot clicks with real people and crawlers it counts anything that requests the link

It was obvious for me, when I saw somebody sharing there statistics which shows more than 10k clicks for a affiliate

It counts everything. Users, bots, etc.

I hope SEOClerks will not count every clicks from bot or traffic exchange.

I have had nearly 22,000 clicks on my affiliate link but only 12 affiliate members so my affiliate link has clearly been crawled a lot by search engines, crawlers, spiders etc

I currently have 85,264 Clicks with 121 Affiliates that have made 208 Sales.

I might make a Facebook & Twitter page promoting my stores once my new version is complete and use the websites api's to auto post good services for them

Yeah, auto posting is good a saves a lot of time

Just be sure that you don't auto post the same message across lots of pages on the one social network. For example, auto posting "Hello Everyone" to 1 facebook page, 1 twitter profile, 1 plus one page, 1 linkedin, etc.. at the same time is fine, but auto posting it to 5 facbook pages at once, or twitter profiles at once, etc.. is a grey area. Although I have not had any warnings, bans or even came close to getting one, a lot of people on forums, etc.. are saying they have, so just don't overdo the auto posting for lots of profiles across the one network.

I will create a small DB with the service id so if it comes up again it won't post, but if it isn't in the DB then it will post that should solve the problem
