Someone I know has almost 100k clicks

It's hard trying to get conversions but it's definitely worth it. I have a referred user that purchased a service worth $16.00, that's $1.6 commission.. not too bad in my opinion.. not too bad at all!

If your are getting that many clicks and users with no purchases, your are advertising to the wrong market. Ads on related seo/blackhat forums are what work best for me. Just links recommending a service when someone asks for a service that works or is cheap. It isn't spam and is helpful because the person asked for it.

I wouldnt worry to much about your Affiliate Clicks being way more than your Affiliate Members, although what robertman11 said i very true

Use forum signatures, forum profiles & forum discussions to share your affiliate link on. If you have a twitter, share your affiliate link on a different gig each day, maybe even twice per day, but not too much as you dont want to lose followers that arent interested in this, but maybe interested in other things you promote.... Same for other Social Network Pages you have, if you have any. Facebook advertising can be good, but can also be costly to get your self Alot of sign ups.

In my opinion, your best bet to gain affiliates is to buy the SEOClerks Affiliate Script / Software Here! (More Info Here)
Host it, buy a domain for it, then promote that rather than your actual affiliate link. This way, you can get your website ranking high in Google and other Search Engines, which cant be dont as good / easily with an affiliate link. Buy doing SEO and other promotion work on your own domain rather than an affiliate link means you still get your refferals on SEOClerks, but you will also, in time, be the owner of a popular website and high ranking domain.

When I first started, I just "bursted out" my affiliate links everywhere.. Which resulted in a couple of affiliates (and THOUSANDS of Clicks) but still very few. After some time, when I "researched" a bit, I did things different, which gave me greater results.

Just today, I've got myself 11 new affiliates.. Like Jordan said earlier. "It is easy to get clicks and just a bit harder to get members. The tricky part is getting members that purchase."

And that's true. Here's a couple of images where I'll show you how my affiliates are doing.

So, the first digits are the amount of orders they've purchased and then there's the total amount they've spent.
I've choosen not to reveal any of my affiliates usernames. But as you can see, I've got "tons" of affiliates who hasn't purchased anything. (yet), and I've got some affiliates who's purcasing more than others.

The best part is, that I get 10% for life, from these affiliates.. So DON'T underestimate the Affiliate program.
When you've got yourself a couple of hundred affiliates, you can withdraw another $100 or so per month. EXTRA! That's my personal goal.

Update since my last post:

I've started to get a better conversion rate. Clicks -> Members. Which is great.

I'd love to hear how many affiliates you've got karoshio, would you mind sharing?
