    What is the ongoing article rate?

    I am interested in getting writing help for a blog. Was wondering what is the ongoing rate for an SEO related article?

    NOTE: articles about SEO, not SEO articles for ranking purpose.

    Based on my research it could be as high as $20 for 1000 words. Is this correct?

    Typically, i charge at least $20 for a 1000 word article as more time to write and research is required. However, for a very complex topic that is very detailed or technical, that I am not familiar with, I would charge more.

    Some people will spin an article for $5.00, which is really cheap. I have only seen a few services like this, but they seem very popular.

    Yes, acceptable price. However most of the articles are sold around 5$ -10$ if it is not that much sophisticated and technical

    I would write Medical articles with around 600 - 800 as 10$ ,
    SEO related articles with 600-800 count as 5- 7 $ according to the article

    I find that it depends on who is doing the article as well as what the niche is. If you have a topic that is easy to cover, then you can get by with paying less.

    For tough topics that need good research work writers may not be able to offer less than $1.5 per 100 words. This is the minimum rate after good bargaining.

    You are assuming that someone writing an article for that low amount is actually spending more than an hour or even writing everything from scratch. Some people will just spin an article and sell it that way. It's not something that I would do, but it would reduce the cost involved in making the article and allow the seller to earn more money assuming they could get more customers to buy spun articles.

    You can get articles for as low as $1.00 on some sites, but they won't be what you are looking for in terms of quality content. You will need to pay at least $100 for a quality article unless you don't mind spun content.

    I had read the same figures as $10 for a 1,000 word article and some are unbelievably high rate. I understand that an SEO-related article is special so maybe the rate is really high but I have yet to experience writing such an article so I cannot have a factual estimate for now. The only rate I can give is $10 that was paid for my articles in the e-zine where I submit short articles about entertainment.
