    What if you have ambition to be a writer, but no real training?

    I dabble in writing, but am illustrating my own anime. I would like to be a writer or to write something as I think it could be a useful skill for my anime, rather than relying on someone else. And, I know it would help me to write my own stories. I don't have any training and everytime I try writing, it sounds very artificial.

    Don't give up!
    If it's sounding artificial, you're thinking too hard about it.
    Be yourself. Think of something you're passionate about, such as animal, cars, etc.
    Write it in the way you would explain it yourself. If you put too much thought in it, you will sound artificial.

    You have a big advantage at being able to illustrate your stories even with anime, so use the story panels to 'describe' scenery and details that you can't easily voice with your words. Then focus on your dialogue.

    Just try to imagine the actual characters talking to each other and having a real conversation. Allow the ideas to flow. What would they say about being in those scenes? Then include those words in your stories.

    Could you hire someone to write the dialogue for your stories? This would be better than struggling with the part you are not comfortable with.

    Only practice and time will make you a good fiction writer. Until that happens, keep reading other fiction stories in your genre and learn from what has been done by others.

    If you like t be a writer,it is the best.You can write some contents and give them to people to check.If they are not good you can improve the skills.

    You must have skill and passion to write. There is a difference between having passion to write and actually knowing how to write. Though some people have the skill for it but lack the passion to want to write.

    Write and practice and you will come better. Just because you have not have the training does not mean that you can not write.

    And, writing can become a habit if you do it everyday, so after awhile it will feel more natural to write.

    I am not a professional writer even though i have interest in writing and i think the hard work and practice is the basic thing.

    Work and work and you can get it. Research online grammar and writing and you will eventually be able to train yourself.

    When I started writing, I didn't have access to the internet and read books about writing. Some were really good, others not so much. I wish I had the internet to help me learn better writing techniques as so many writers online are freely sharing their best writing tips daily. Lots of good info in Youtube videos too about how to write better.

    Even me when I started writing I didn't had internet. Only books and magazine were the only sources from where I learned how to write quality content. Well, dedication is very important in whatever form you learn.

    Studying print magazines in your niche is a smart move as it will teach you good writing style as those magazine articles are written by professionally trained journalist/writers. Anyway, it helps to role model a successful person.

    You can be anything you imagine or aspire to, with adequate practice and work towards your goal. These things do not develop over night. That is especially true with writing.

    If you really want to write, then you should at least try it out. You won't get any better at writing by wishing it or thinking about it. Only by practicing your writing will you get any better.

    I don't have a formal training either but I try to have confidence that I can learn by practice. I have joined forums to improve my writing skills. One good way is to accept criticisms and encourage people to comment on my writing style. So far, I still have to receive a violent review. That's a big encouragement to me. But if I would have the time maybe I would enroll in a writing workshop.

    The first requirement to become a writer is the language skills. You should know the language you want to use in your writing. The second requirement is the ability to write. When you know the language and can write, you can easily become a writer. However, you need to read a lot to master the writing skills. When I published my first book, I did not have any training. When I began publishing on newspapers, I did not have any training. When I started writing on the internet I did not have any training. Yet, I sold books, articles and made money.

    I was fortunate to have been the opportunity to learn English in school since first grade until college. With that skill, I didn’t hesitate when I was advised to improve my English by joining writing sites. As what philosophers would say, nothing is easy at first but as you go along the writing work it becomes easier. But the best thing is when writing becomes you passion. That is the easiest way to your ambition.
