What do you expect when you purchase forum posting services?

As a freelancer with SEOClerks, some of my best selling SEOClerks services are for forum posting. This is one of my favorite types of freelance work, other than writing articles and I'm very happy to provide these services as a it's a fun and easy job. Some of the forum posting jobs are super easy to do as they are in a niche that I like, while others require more time, especially when research is required. And, while I always try to provide the best services possible, I'm always looking for ways to improve my professional forum posting skills.

If you are a forum owner and regularly purchase forum posts and content creation services from SEOClerks, please take a moment to answer some questions about what you want from a writer who is creating posts on your forum.

  • What length do you expect for each new discussion? What about forum response length?
  • Do you prefer an avatar or profile information be filled out?
  • How indepth do you want each forum discussion or response?
  • Do you value new discussions or new responses more?
  • What tone or voice should a forum poster use? For instance, do you prefer a more professional/aloof forum posting style or do you want forum posters to be friendly/chatty and blend in with your forum like regular members?
  • What is the average price you pay per new discussion? What do you pay per new forum response?
  • How often do you want your forum poster to communicate with you about progress on the job?
  • When there are multiple SEOClerks members offering similar forum posting services, what is it about one particular forum poster that gives the advantage for being hired over another?
  • Would you buy a subscription service for a regular weekly or monthly forum posting service?
  • What is your budget when ordering a service (regardless of forum posts bought), such as $5.00/$10/$20
  • What type of extras would you be willing to pay for; such as creation of multiple member identities to allow for more variety to posts; spam moderation; short niche tutorials, etc.

I do not buy forum posts but I do them as a service on the site. I like to make sure that my posts are a variety of length. Some are long and some are short but I always make sure that they are on topic.

I have six regular forum posters that work on my site on a freelance basis. These people are regular staff members and paid by the post, so long as they create a minimum number of posts monthly. I expect at least a full paragraph of content for new discussions and a few sentences for new replies. I'm not worried about paying for bad posts, as those are usually deleted.

I was a regular contributor on a forum owned by my friend and she paid me $0.15 per post and expected almost page length for posts. Even for friendship that is asking way too much work. I would rather freelance independently and not feel obligated to have to spend half an hour on a $0.15 post.

One forum owner had commissioned me to post regularly for 10 cents per post. There is no length requirement although I post a minimum of 80 words. That was appreciated and I was offered another forum to fill in. But it looks like the guy had ran out of funds so our deal is off for the moment.

I also had that kind of deal, the budget was $5 per week with a total of 50 posts at $0.10 per post with 80 words per post. I tried it for 2 months and opted out of it because I'm not comfortable with the niche.

I have never purchased forum posting service. Actually, I do not have a forum. However, when I am ready to launch my forum I will be promoting my forums through forum posting services like Postloop and The Forum Wheel. I think forum posting services benefits the owner because you can get active members and a lot of activities.
