How many sources do you consult when researching?

When researching an article or Hub, I consult dozens of pages online, trying to ensure that I have found the most accurate and thorough information. The thing that bothers me about some sources are how they are just a copy of the previous ones. For this reason, I look for credible original resources. These sites are usually ranked very high on Google search for keywords and have the best information for research.

If I'm researching for an article, I check multiple authoritative resources, not just one. And, usually the sources will include WebMD or the equivalent for that niche. It just depends on what niche I'm searching for information in as to how many sources I check.

one to two sources may limit your research and all the info needed. but if you want to stick to one or two sources, such sources must be of high authority and voluminous, trusted with loads of information on what you really need.

Four or five at the least. I want to be sure that I have several good sources to document my information from.

I do online and offline research. I don't exactly believe everything published online, that's why I rely more on print articles, journals when I am doing a research. In case of online research, I will always verify the information with more than 3 sites before I use that information. I check wikipedia, however, I don't trust Wikipedias blindly. I look into other resources such as Encyclopedia Britannica.

I spend an average of two hours while preparing any article that I want to send to the public domain. Out of the two hours, I use an hour to do a thorough research on the subject topic for it gives me that chance to ensure that I went deeper on what I am writing on and not to present poor articles for clients.

It is normal for writers to do the research in the internet. But in my niche and the kind of blogging that I do, what I need is a first hand account that will make my blog more interesting. One veteran writer told me that writing by using other sources is not good. You should write an original with contents coming from your own experience or the experience of other people. So if I need the experience of a veterinary medicine training, I have to interview a student who is taking that course.

A research paper is a scientific work that is directly connected with research, experiments, setting patterns, summarizing data and justifying a project. As soon as the student receives the assignment, he should read it and, if necessary, feel free to ask questions.
