SEOclerks Community should charge less percentage for each order

Hi fellows

I'm just curious how many of you are agree on this ? I have been seller in SEOclerks for a while and Everytime when someone bought my service I got paid after deduction of 20% commission which is way too high in my view, SEOclerks should charge less amount from seller. Rates should be like 5-10%. I dont know how many of you will be agreed on it, but This is my view. SEOclerks will be earn a lot from this step if they decrease their commission per sale.

Thanks

Yeah maybe you do feel that 20% is a lot but it is a great site and they need to make some money as well. They are offering a service and need to be paid as well.

I believe most of the sellers on SEOClerks would love to see a decreased commission, since it would equal in more money in every sellers pockets, but it would also lead to a huge loss for SEOClerks. There's several marketplaces out there, and I'm not an active user of them all, or even half of them.. I've tried a couple and I've never seen any marketplaces have less than 20% commission, so why should SEOClerks have less than that?

First of all, you need to "compare" SEOClerks with other Marketplaces to even consider a lower commission percentage.

"Does SEOClerks have less features than other marketplaces? Etc."

In my honest opinion... SEOClerks is way better and have way more features than other marketplaces.
SEOClerks takes 20% commission but if your affiliates purchase something, SEOClerks splits that 20% with you..
Which equals in 10% commission for both SEOClerks and yourself.. (That's a 50-50 split)

If the commission percentage would be lower than 20%..
Let's say 5% or 10% instead like you suggest.. What would happen to the affiliates then?

5% or 2.5% of any affiliate purchase wouldn't be that much of a deal.. Which would decrease the use of the affiliate program.. Which would result in less active users in the long run. (Less users will equal in less customers & less sales)

Besides this, you need to take into consideration that SEOClerks has contests, they give everyone a chance to get $2 for free (the twitter promo) etc. etc.... The list is too long to even fit within a post. Which all results in a loss for SEOClerks. They can't give everyone free money and get nothing back. (2.5% or 5% profit for SEOClerks would be close to nothing.)

Just the fact that SEOClerks offers everyone $2 for free, is an awesome "bait" which equals in more users. (Both sellers and buyers).. Which of course leads to more sales for sellers too. (Since the $2 can't be withdrawn, users have to spend the $2. With some luck, they spend it on your services.)

You said, "SEOClerks will earn a lot if they decrease the commission rates."
-Would you mind elaborate this? How would they earn more by having less commission rates?

The only way I personally can see a decreased commission, would be if SEOClerks takes away the Affiliate program, stopped having contests and stopped giving away free money.. Which will lead to less active users... A decrease in sales (for everyone since it would be hard to attract new users.) OR, if SEOClerks would be satisfied with earning close to nothing despite all the costs & work. (Which is highly unlikely.)

Excellent post above. Another point is that SEOClerks pays the Paypal fees for each purchase, and then covers the fees when you withdraw via Paypal or Western Union.

Paypal fees = 2.5%

Paid twice (inbound and outbound) means SEOClerks makes only 15%. If it was an affiliate sale, 5%...

Very nice point. I know no one likes paying fees but someone has to.
