Cleaning Up The "Want To Buy" Section

Greetings to all! I hope you are having a splendid day!!

As I was browsing through the forum, I noticed a significant amount of unnecessary clutter in the "Want To Buy" section. I feel it would be of much benefit to all members, if the listings were automatically removed once they go past the expired time, OR if the offer has been marked as complete.

Keeping the active job posts and deleting those that have been closed (due to expiration/completion) would shorten the listings significantly, therefore keeping members actively searching for the tasks they wish to be hired for.

While I found searching for a job to apply for exciting, I found it just as frustrating and was disappointed with the amount of expired or completed tasks that were listed. There should only be active job posts visible to those that are truly interested in applying for work.

For example:
When you're looking through the Classifieds for employment, you only see the jobs/careers available... Right? You don't see the ones you could have applied for, but had missed out.

I hope this suggestion is of some benefit to those it would effect.

Smile! Have fun, learn and explore!!

Good day!!

I have another suggestion for the "Want To Buy", and I figured I would keep it on this thread, however if I should create another one, I most certainly can (just let me know if I should or not...lol)

Another way to make the "Want To Buy" section a little less scattered and more organized, could be to make it possible to search for jobs with in your own niche. This way individuals can cut to the chase with what they want without having to rummage through the niches they either aren't knowledgeable about, or aren't interested in.

I realize by doing this it would create a lot of work, as it would have to be a separate entity all on it's own because of the built in search engine in the script. I feel, however it would be well worth the effort, as it would be soooo much easier to look for the jobs you are destined to accomplish

Hope this was helpful to those concerned.

Please disregard above post. Apparently I was half a sleep and I didn't notice the categories already listed on the right hand side of the page. My apologies

I just reported 29 ENDED listings on the first page.... I felt bad doing it, as it swamps support with a bunch of stuff at once. I will go over the first page again tomorrow night...lol

Once again I reported 26 ENDED Want To Buy listings on the first page. Some of them where the same one's I already reported. @jordan , am I beating a dead horse, or should I proceed with doing this?
