    What is a 501 Bad Gateway?

    Sometimes, I see a 501 Bad Gateway error page on both forum and SEOClerks. What does this error message mean?

    If you are having internet trouble, that could cause you to get this error message as the page has not fully loaded.

    Another possibility could be they are having trouble with their databases.

    All he 5XX errors that you see on browsers can not be fixed by the user and can only be fixed and removed from the server as these are server side HTTP error.

    I've also seen them few times.
    I noticed that when it happens site favicon changes to the old seoclerks logo and changing url from seoclerk.com to seoclerks.com fixes the problem.
    seoclerks.com is actually the first domain that was used for this site.

    Clicking on the forum logo will take you to the seoclerk.com version of the site.

    I know, but when "501 Bad Gateway" error shows up there is no logo to click on ;)
