I like creating design elements and want to incorporate some of my designs onto a Wordpress theme. Is there a way to integrate the design elements into an existing theme or would I need to create a Wordpress theme from scratch to use my own graphics?
I've changed the header and background of a very simple Wordpress theme but not gone so far as designing a theme from scratch.

I just learnt how to create a WordPress site last four days and in as much as I have not got time to start putting what I learnt into practice, it does not go without the fact that it is something that I discovered possible for me to do and feel okay doing so as well.
