Visitors or page views

Which is more important for your blog, visitors or page views? If you get 10,000 visitors daily but they only visit one page, that might not be as good as 2k visitors who visit 5 pages, especially if those same people are buying your products or clicking on ads. What do you think?

If your visitors are not clicking on your ads or buying your products, then it doesn't matter how many pages they turn. You will want responsive site visitors who actually take time to read your articles and make comments and even engage with the products or ads being offered. Then even a small blog with few page views or visitors can be a success.

You want to attract readers, not just visitors or people who will loyally come back daily or weekly and read the articles and interact with your site. These people will usually be the ones that click on ads or buy products.

I think both the visitors and the page view statistics are important. If the visitors are not participating, then it calls for the need to review how one is running the blog and try to set things better in the future. For me, both are good ways to go about blogging.
