    Why do some people copy from other forums?

    I have been to three webmaster forums recently and seen the very same discussion (copied word for word) onto each one. Why do people copy like this from other forums?

    Those people are just account building for signature lines. They will likely sell the account to someone else. So that's why they copy and paste the same discussion to more than one forum. It's just easier for the person who is building the account.

    I visit many forums regularly and sometimes I see a duplicate post in one forum with another. Obviously, those copycat who are posting such duplicates are plain lazy to think of what to post. Let’s admit that it is not easy to think of what to post and much more when you are not a good writer, it is difficult. And if you can post a duplicate then all you need to do is to copy from one forum and then paste it on another. Presto, you have a good post already.

    Because some people doesn't really know how to write while some can't even think of a topic to write. People who commits Plagiarism or copy posts should be reported and banned.

    The people who copy and paste someone else's post in either the same forum or a different one, are probably spammers. All they want is a link that will probably get them some traffic and since they probably aren't really interested in whatever forum they joined, the easiest way to find something to post is steal content from another forum, copy it and paste it. It's real fast, they get their backlink.
