Where do you get your forum post ideas?

I get so many ideas for forum posts by reading magazines on my hobbies and usually the articles don't explain fully everything needed to know. And, for questions left unanswered, I will usually find a niche hobby forum and post there to get an answer.

Sometimes, just talking with others on a forum will bring up questions that I want answered. It's not always productive or appropriate to post those questions in the post that inspired your question. So you just start a new thread.

I have noticed that when I am talking with people, I get so many ideas that are related to my needs in forum posting. Like the other day when I was with my sister in the supermarket, we were discussing about the new products for seniors like the milk that is fortified with calcium. That topic had already branched out inside my head. I have listed down the issues with bones such as scoliosis and osteoporosis. Add to that the nursing home and caregivers. Oh there’s a lot to name them all.
