    Under what circumstances would you fire a staff member? What could be so bad that you would just want that person off your staff?

    If a forum staff member was perpetually rude to forum members, that would be reason to let them go from the position. I don't see any other way to do it.

    In the forum of my husband's office website, one staff member was terminated for failing to monitor the forum for many days. They considered it a dereliction of duty. The office was shortchanged because the staff has a regular honorarium. Spam had piled up that caused the discovery of the absentee moderator.
