Do you have seasonal peaks in forum activity?

On the forum that I manage we have seasonal peaks of activity especially during summer time. These peaks give us lots of new discussions and responses. Though some times the forum is almost dead due to other things members might be doing, such as when college classes start back in the fall. These peaks and lulls are difficult to deal with. What's your experience with this?

Some forums will be busier during holidays such as summer breaks and Christmas as more people are home and available to be on line. Weekends are another busy time. This may depend on what type of forum you have.

Seasonal peaks are just natural and happen on every forum. But the busy season for one forum might not be the same as for others. For instance, gaming forums might have more traffic when kids are out of school on break. Though during summer time the kids might be outside or at a friends house, or gaming rather than on a forum talking about games.

Christmas is the best time for my forum, followed by Valentines day. These two times we get so much traffic and talk from members
