Can you manage more than one forum at the same time?

Managing one forum is nearly a full time job, but some people own multiple forums, requiring good time management skills as well as resources. Do you think you have what it takes to manage more than one forum at a time?

Assuming you manage your time well and don't get distracted with side projects, you should be able to manage multiple forums or blogs without problems. And, if those sites are producing income that could be a good incentive to put more effort into it.

A forum can be a full time job but a blog is easier to manage. If you have a forum, you have to actually baby sit the forum and make sure that it goes well. With a blog, you can just as easily write up your posts many months in advance and then only spend a few minutes a week posting them and updating your Facebook/Twitter status.

I have my affiliate store, 3 blogs, three forums, moderate two others (not mine), plus I have several other websites. @Asmodeus and I share several sites on top of all that, plus he has a whack of his own as well. The niches are all over the place, and quite scattered, but it works for us!

If you have a regular job, you cannot manage more than one forum at the same time. If you work part time, bust still have money and time for experimentation, you can of course manage more than one forum. In order to manage a forum you need at least 2-3 hours in a day. Do you think you can spare time?

Pardon me for saying this but I think that is a crazy idea. Managing one forum is already a big burden so how can you manage more? But in fairness to a good manager, I understand that there are ways to do it. First, you will need a good staff especially the admin who can take over the concerns of the forum. Second is the niche of the forum is not a popular one which can get you decent members. And third, your management style of checking and evaluating the performance not only of the staff but of the forum itself.
