    Did you ever put a forum on your blog?

    Most people think of having a blog that is connected to the forum or even blogging on the forum, such as in one specific post. But, have you ever installed a forum directly on your blog, such as on the home page so that it runs inline with the blog? If you have done this, what good results did you have and what plug in did you use?

    I did this one one of my blogs but it was more of an experiment. I want to try it out with a Wordpress blog as those have a really nice set up and I like the Wordpress forum style anyway.

    I might install a forum on a Wordpress subfolder but I don't know how you would install on the actual front page of the site. There might be a plug in for that.

    I once thought about putting a forum on my blog, however, I never did this. Creating a forum is not enough, you need members who regularly post on the forum. In order to do this you need to attract members. If you want to promote your blog via your forum, forum on your blog will give you and advantage, however, you need a lot of time to manage your forum and blog at the same time.
