    How do you come up with interesting forum posts for your forum?

    Let's talk about some of the ways you come up with interesting posts that excite and involve your forum members.

    One of the things that works for me is to do a lot of reading in my niche and then post 'question' type forum posts on my own forum.

    What are some of the ideas that work for you to help you come up with interesting posts?

    I like to posts stories about my day and my personal experience with situations. These usually get lots of responses.

    I don't pre-think or plan a lot about what I will say before I get to the forum. If I'm on a forum and a discussion sparks my interest, then I will respond to it and try to add some relevant advice that would help others.

    Perhaps I am a devils advocate, but I do enjoy controversial conversations. I like to learn the numerous aspects of thinking to better understand individuals from different backgrounds. I like forum discussions that I can be passionate about, and create some thought and feeling into other people.

    Of course these types of conversation can bring out the irrational, nonsensical bologna but if it's moderated well the debates stay where it should be.

    I believe in the saying that forum owners never rest. You have to be on your toes every day, not only in checking for forum for something that is amiss but also in thinking of ways and means to improve the forum regarding quality of design, membership and activity. And one good post is expected of you at least once a day. In most forums, I could see the admin’s post was only on topics pertaining to the operation of the forum. Isn’t it better if the admin would join the community by posting on regular topics? As a member, I appreciate when the admin would reply on my post or comment.
