    What gifts or incentives do you give to forum donors who contribute money to the upkeep of your forum?

    Give each person who donates a special title or rank such as 'Contributor' or 'Sponsor'. This will be very prestigious.

    You could also gift them with something such as a shirt with the logo of your site on it, a pen and pencil set with the logo, etc.

    If you own a torrent site, then I would suggest give them some uploads, so that there ratios come close to 1 ;)

    Make their name known on the site and maybe have a portion of the forum named after them.

    This is a very good idea as it would turn that person into your local walking advertisement. A very clever way to market a forum. Thanks for the idea.

    I give them a rank, custom title, username color change, and even coupons for site services and even services on other sites that I am partners with. I also only charge them about $2 a month so it would only cost them $24 for a full year of all these gifts and extras Gifts to forum donors

    What do you think about the idea of having premium (subscription) members be allowed a few extra priveleges such as being able to moderate spam posts if they want. To me, that would be a huge deal as I hate going onto a favorite site and seeing spam. Usually if I see spam I end up asking the owner to let me be a moderator so that I can delete it. I don't know if this is an option on your forum or something you would consider but maybe there are other privileges that you could offer too not just that of deleting spam. What do you think?

    Allowing someone to put a banner in their signature line would be a nice gift to a forum donor.

    I agree with the rank given to a donor. Maybe a VIP badge or something will be appreciated. However, that is only good if the donor is a member of the community. What about if the biggest donor of your forum is the mayor who doesn’t even know what a forum is? You will need a lot of explaining to do. But anyway, a thread about the donation is in order so you can put in the details that will surely give credence to the good deed of the donor towards the forum.
