    How do you keep track of your forum discussion ideas?

    Sometimes, when I'm off forum and away from my computer, I'll get an idea for a new discussion. But by the time I get back to the computer, it will have slipped my mind. Does that ever happen? And, how do you keep track of the ideas you have for discussions to post?

    Just keep a notebook with you and write down all your ideas in that.

    I agree that a notebook is the perfect way to jot down thoughts that you want to write about.

    That is common to forget the idea that suddenly entered your mind. Once it is there, jot it down so you will not forget it because after 5 minutes it will be gone from your head. I used to have a small notebook and then just a folded sheet of paper for convenience. But now I am using my phone for a notepad. When I am driving, that is the problem although when the idea is very important, I would pull over to make note of it. I find my mind to be very fertile when I am driving alone. But unfortunately, using the phone while driving is now against the law so it is imperative for me to pull over by the side of the road to write.
