    Creating a special user group for retired admins/staff

    I'd like to create a special user group to put retired staff members into. I don't simply want to demote these people to regular status as that demeans the work they put into the forum. If they are no longer posting actively or even if they are, it would be nice to acknowledge their contribution to the development of the forum. What do you think about this idea?

    On one forum that I've visited, they give a signature line of 'retired staff member' to every former staffer. That seems like a nice gesture.
