    Would you buy a forum?

    Is it worthwhile to buy a forum that has many thousands of posts already up? Or, do you prefer to start a forum and build your own community? Which is easier or more worthwhile, from a financial point of view?

    Having started a forum and faced the challenges of building a forum membership, i'd probably rather just buy a forum that already has an established community in place.

    It sounds like from all that I have read that it would be easier just to buy a forum than to start one on your own. But than again it also depends on the person and what sort of goals and desires they have.

    I would never buy a forum, however, I might start a forum some day. Buying a forum with numerous active members and a lot of contents cost money. You have skills, you can easily create a forum, have many active members and a lot of contents. You can use post exchange services like postloop and the forum wheel to invite posters. By using such services, you will always have contents. This will cost far less than buying a forum.
